About Abacus Preschool
All staff have a relevant qualification in childcare and each setting has a designated member of staff appointed as a Special educational needs co-ordinator (SENCO), to ensure all children with additional needs are planned for effectively and are able to enjoy and achieve in their play.
The pre-school works to the requirements of the 1993 Education Act and The Special Educational Needs Code of Practice (2014).
All staff hold a relevant qualification in Paediatric First Aid.Staff complete training including Safeguarding, Food Hygiene Health and Safety and Fire Safety.
Forest School Sessions in Bradley Stoke
Abacus pre-school are proud to be developing Forest School sessions for the children who attend any of the Abacus settings, currently located in Bradley Stoke and Stoke Gifford.
