Hello my name is Layla I am the manager of Abacus @ baileys . I have worked at baileys for 6 years, and have worked with all age groups in my 23 years of working in early years. I am level 5 qualified, with the added extra of being forest school trained. Which I have been lucky to deliver in many different forest settings with many different groups. We enjoyed using tools and cooking over an open fire. I am the setting SENCO, judging the needs and abilities of each individual child supporting them achievable targets for each child. I like following each child’s interests and developing an interesting curriculum which is based around play.

I started working with Abacus from September 2022, although have worked in other early years settings. Since joining Abacus I have worked in different settings and enjoyed learning different things from each site. I am now settled in as the deputy manager of baileys court and look forward to working alongside your children.
