Abacus opened a preschool within the Stoke Gifford community in January 2019.
Abacus preschool @ Stoke Gifford offers high quality care for children aged 2, 3 and 4 years of age Monday – Friday term time only offering both half day and full day sessions. We offer funded sessions to eligible children age 2,3 and 4 years.

Opening Times:
Our setting offers term time care – Sessions available to eligible children age 2, 3 and 4 years.
From September 2025
AM session : 8:00am-1.00pm
PM session : 1:00pm-4:00pm
All day session : 8:30am-4:00pm
An 8.00 am start is available for children attending full day sessions for an additional charge

Prices
All fees are to be paid monthly in advance by BACS or cash only. We do not accept any cheques. Please ensure when paying by BACS you use your invoice number as a reference.
ALL fees are charged at the current hourly rate of £7.00 for 2 yr olds and £5.50 per hour for 3 and 4 yr olds.* subject to change

I don’t think there are enough words to sum up B time at abacus. when he started in 2021 he couldn’t speak a single word.He can now recite the alphabet (forward, backwards and in Spanish) he knows all his numbers, shapes, colours and animals. He comes home singing new songs all the timed is always happy when I collect him.nothing is ever too much trouble, I do not have a bad words to say about the ladies who work at Stoke Gifford. I’m not sure ill ever be ready for him to leave, but you ladies have done everything to make his journey smooth. From Charlie
