My name is Charlie. I am the manager of Abacus pre-school in Emersons Green. I started with Abacus Pre-School in May 2021 after a decade of working in private nurseries as a room leader or management role. I have a BA Honours degree in Early Childhood Studies. This helped to deepen my knowledge on education in early years and brain development for 0-5 years. With over 14 years of experience, my expertise lay with early years children where my interests are to support children to become confident, independent learners ready for when they transition to school. I look forward to getting to know your child’s interests to support their learning at Abacus pre-school. I will be incorporating my interest in outdoor learning for children and the importance for children to have learning experiences through out their play. I am excited for our journey together.
Charlie is on maternity leave from 26.04.2024.
